Hi,
we use Solman 7.1.
I want to establish creating support messages in the satellite systems.
I configured table BCOS_CUST in satellite system correctly. RFC works.
I copied SMIN to ZMIN and adopted the role reported by. The I changed the access sequence in partner functions procedure, to "preceding document --> reporter --> current user",
The business partner are created via AI_SDK_USER_BP_GEN with the identification in the satellite system, as note: we use central user management.
The support message is successfully created and in the note SY-UNAME is filled correctly.
How can I resolve the problem?
Thanking you in anticipation
Best regards,
Christina

Hi Christina,
the business partner of the user filled in SY-UNAME must have the Employee role with the User ID in field User Name:
You also need to check if the business partner has an entry of type CRM001 (External System Identification) in the Identification tab for the system where the incident (support message) is being created. Take a look at the business partner in BP role "General", as below:
The business partner must have an entry with <SID> <Installation number> <client> <user id>. This is how SolMan identifies who is the "Reported by" for a message coming from a satellite system.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Raquel

Hi christiana,
This might be because of the missing table entry.
Have you done the automatic update under SOLMAN_SETUP-->IT Services-->Incident Management--> in the third step you will find the automatic wizard which will update the relevant table.
Kindly check and let me know

Hi Christina ,
To do an initial diagnosis , can you manually fill in the "reported by" BP . Can you check if the BP is correctly matched to the user ID in the satellite system in the identification tab .
What is your Solman SP level ? Also , is this issue occurring for all satellite systems or for a particular satellite system .

Shaswat
