you have to set the Oracle listener service to to start automatic

WINDOWS ==> start ==> run ==> services.msc (change the oracle listener from manual to automatic)

UNIX ==> you have set up the start up script

Dear Jack jill

If you are getting same problem, after changing automatic .Please do one thing drop the listener service and create the listener server.

If your facing any problem, please let us know.

Thank you

The Oracle listener doesn't start automatically unless you set the service to "Automatic" in service.msc.

If you are on Linux / Unix then you need to start it manually unless you automate it during the start of the server.
