In case of sales order how to divide header condition to item item wise evenly.
I have one header condition which is entered manually at the time of sales order creation. When i m taking same material in 2 line item that header is dividing properly in line item wise, but when i m taking two different materials the header condition is not dividing properly.
Kindly suggest me what is configuration for making header condition to be divided propertionately line item wise.
Thanks in Advance.
Sunita

K, but the problem itself is pointing material relation. Check all link B/W mtrl and condition type.
N can you tell something about your condition type.
Your condition type is a copy of which header condition type?
As per Moazzam suggest check your group condition and Calculation type once.
Request..
If you get solution by yourself - Pls post solution here.

Hi
Make sure your condition is not a group condition and you have entered calculation type as Fixed Value.

Dear All,
yes two materials have different price.. one header condition is there as advance... so while creating sales order we have to enter advance amount same as the order amount if the customer is paid already... If in one sales order
1st line item price--- 1200 -- 1 quantity
2nd line item price---- 800 -- 1 quantity
total document price: 2000
Then after entering the advance amount at header level manually 2000 the amount should divide line item wise like for 1st line 1200 and for 2nd line 800.
but its dividing like 1400 and 600.
This problem is coming if we are giving 2 different materials. if we are giving same materials containing of different storageloc or plant... its dividing propertionately.
Pls suggest what to do for this...

Hi SUNITA,
it seems that your condition reacts like HM00 standard header condition, of course with the difference that HM00 is sales order value.
in this case the system will distribute the header amount analogically to each item.
i mean that if the 1rst line item has an amount of 2000 and the 2nd an amount of 1000 and you add to the header condition an amount of 3000 the system will distribute 2000 to the 1rst item and 1000 to the 2nd line item.
i think that this is the right action, why you wabt to change it?
Hi Sunita:
it is probably due to the fact that your material has different prices. If you go to v/06 and check the box for "Group Condition", under calculation type maintain "B fixed value", then header condition will be distritbuting evenly to line items.

Hi Friend,
As per my understanding, If you want to divide the price on proportional base, then you should have to maintained the price in value wise or may be quantity wise. this will work.
Hope this will help you to solve your issue.

For you, Header condition is dividing properly at item level for the same material.
And the problem is Header condition is not dividing properly, when two different materials.
Correct?
Check Material Group - might be both material from different material group.
And
Want to know the meaning of not dividing properly. Means what?
(Price is dividing but not with the same amount to two different materials?)
If it's like this, then that is the reason of Qty.

Ensure that whatever value maintained for that header condition is same as standard condition type HB00 if you want the value to split proportionately to the quantity.
