Why there is no jlaunch process in PI Netweaver 7.31 ?

Hi ,

while grep jlaunch process at os level there is no process is running but java system is up how?

If any one know please help us.

Hi,

You can check using below process.

/usr/sap/SID/XX/exe/jstart

or

jsmon pf=instance profile

process view

or login to nwa with the url.

http://hostname:port/nwa

I checked /usr/sap/SID/XX/exe directory ,jlaunch executable is presented but ps -ef | grep jlaunch the process is not running

Hi,

as mentioned jstart is used now to check the process of java system. Jlaunch is no more used in new release.

jlaunch,jcontrol  -> was introduced during 6.20 and is part of the startup framework until 7.02

jstart -> 7.1+
