Multi-Level Categorization

Hi,

we are using multi-level categorization in incident management in Solman 7.1. We created a new version of our categorization schema to translate it. But after activating it, multi-level categorization is not possible. The fields in UI are disabled.

Have you any idea to solve this problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

Best Regards

Christina

Hi Christina,

What is the transaction type using in the ITSM 7.1 ( like ZMIN, YMIN ..)

In the new version, in application area add or replace the standard SMIN to ZMIN ( if you have used custom transaction type Z* or Y*) in the value column.

Hi Christina,

I had this issue and the solution is right assignment of transaction type. To make sure you do it correctly, please enable technical names in the personalization settings of Web UI screen. Without technical names, the text usually is the same for standard and Z variations of the transactions.

Enable technical names and then do the proper assignment. This should resolve the issue.

Hope this helps.

Hi Christina ,

you will need to assign your customised transaction type for ez ZMIN or YMIN to the application area as suggested by Karthik .

This field is just below  general data in solman webgui categorization schema page.
