Support message creator : How to disable contact person field.

          Hello SAP Gurus,

I am currently facing an issue where i have copied standard roles of user IM_CREAT_SID to assign to a creator, but while creating an incident I want to deactivate the "Contact Person" field in the attached screenshot.

Kindly help me with a solution.

Hi,

To achieve this follow these steps;

1. Activate the expert mode in UI to see the tiny spanner symbol.

if you dont find that icon then enable configuration mode using 'Personalization'

2. Now click on the Spanner icon

3. Click on the Blue area

4. in the pop up select Contact Person filed and chose remove button

5. Save and Close

That's all

Hi Mihir,

Have u tried using the Web UI screen configuration option. To do this, first enable configuration mode in personalization options and then come back to the above screen, you will find "Show configuration areas" option enabled on top right corner.

Once ur into the related configuration area, you can select the field and set the option as Hide.
