Dear All,

I have attached a DIR to a WBS. Now new version of that DIR has come which automatically get attached to the object linked WBS.

Now if I see in PS on that WBS all versions are getting showed whereas client requirement is to have only current latest version to be displayed

to my understanding i have some the following changes In DC10 under Define Object Links Tab

i have done these changes

When New Version  : 1

Create Document : 0

Document Veriosn :1
under Object Draw.

now when i attach a DIR with 3 verison it is showing all 3 instead version 02 the latest.

Regards

Kashif

I think you have to define, what is "the current lastest version".

DMS differs between the last one and the last released one. This is controlled by the status type. If the status type is "released" (=>use the release flag), the status light is green. Sometimes, the lasted released is reqired and not the last one !!!! Think about a technical drawing. The lastes drawing is perhase in a development status. The last released one is ready for manufacturing.

You can implement some methods by using DMS BAdIs to set former document versions to a status, e.g. "outdated" or "obsolete" at the moment, when a user saves a document. This status is not a status with type of release. If you set the radio button to "Current Version" as Pravin told you, you will see only one document.

Hi Kashid,

As per standard DMS, in Document Management Screen i.e. DIR in "All Versions" tab, system will show you all versions created for that DMS whereas in "Current Version" tab, system will show you latest version of the DMS. You can see in material master "Additional Data" tab in Document screen,

system is showing two tabs "Current Version & All version"

So same thing may be appear in PS in WBS transaction. If you could share a screen shot then It could be more clear.

Thanks
