My paystubs app opens a blank page

Hi,

When i execute my stubs app which has this URL: http://<server>...<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ui5_hcm_ps_mon/index.html in IE browser i get a blank screen given below on executing this link.what may be the problem?

Hi,

I have just observed that i had implemented the note 1949690 in client1 and i transported it to another client i.e client2.However when i check this note in snote transaction in client 2 the note cannot be seen in the list of notes.I tried downloading this notein client2.Although it gives the message the note has been downloaded the note number isnt visible in the list.

What may be the issue?

Hi Benita,

Here are the steps to resolve the issue.

1) Note 1949690 to resolve the issue.
2) If you get an error in console cannot read property length of undefined it is due to the error in library  in 1.16.3 which is already solved by library version 1.16.4 and above.

Notes for updating library version for 1.16.*

1953404 SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.16.7

1945647 SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.16.6

1940304 SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.16.5

1931051 SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.16.4

3) If you get an error PDF does not get display and gives error - "Resource not found for the segment

'PDFPayslips(PersonnelAssignment".

Kindly implement the note 1950417 to resolve the issue.

Implementing the above mentioned notes solved all the issues being faced.My paystubs app now works perfectly fine.

Hi Benita,

You can update UI add-on for NetWeaver to SP06. The library version will be 1.16.* then you can apply the update library patch notes.

I have updated the below components to the SP  levels mentioned in the brackets:

SAP IW BEP 200  (SP08)

GW_CORE 200 (SP 08)

UI2_731  100 (SP06)

SAP IW FND 250 (SP08)

UISAPUI5 100 (SP 0006 )

UI2_SRVC 100 (SP 0006 )

UI_INFRA 100 (SP 0006 )

But it opens the below page:

I have updated the UISAPUI5 component to SP006.

All the components are updated to the latest support package as seen in the
below screenshot:

I got the below screen visible on checking the link http://.../sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/index.html
in the browser:

On opening the My paystubs app I am still receiving the below screen.What may be the issue?

There are 2 errors here for the ca/common/uilib/library.js and ca/common/uilib/Utils/UserSettings.

Kindly implement the note 1949690 to resolve the issue.

I tried all the possibilites for the system alias but this screen goes into an infinite loop and does not load.What may be reason for this?

Below is the screenshot of the inspect element for paystubs.The opu/odata link has a 200 ok status.

I cleaned the cache too but the screen still goes into infinite loop.

If OData is not called, it might be an issue in UI side.

Please check your SAPUI5 library version.

You can check SAPUI5 version with .../sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/index.html

FYI. Note for 1.16* version.

UISRA has SP level 002

SRA 006 has SP level 002

However when i open the app using the link http://<server>,,,,,<client>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ui5_hcm_ps_mon/index.html?sap-client=XXX

it opens a blank page as seen below:

Have you applied all mandatory notes?

Can you see Payment PDF in ERP without Fiori?

• SAP Fiori LL04 - Make sure the backend applications are running before implementation

but i am getting a blank screen.

I pressed the F12 button since i am using IE browser so i am getting the following screen as given in the below screenshot:

When i check in SE80 i observe that the path moves from

UI5_HCM_PS_MON->pages with flow logic->mimes->img->resources->sap->ca->common->uilib->img

However uilib has only one folder that is img it does not have view folder.Find below the screenshot:

Try pressing F12 in the browser and switch to the Console tab in the resulting popup dialog (I'm using IE 9)

You'll need to refresh the page and look for any relevant error messages, missing files, etc. (most people like to use Chrome for the network traffic debugging, etc. but you can probably do the necessary root cause debugging right from your current blank window).
