SAP PLM CAD Desktop Problem about Cideon

We are implementing SAP PLM.We use Cideon as CAD Integrator,for Mechanical V2007 and Inventor 11.

If you Know well about Cideon,please help resolve the problem.

First I open Mechanical,fill all the key field in the tab of Menu File/Property,such as title,comment,Subject.The key field can be used in Document info record (CV01N).

Then press Menu SAP/CAD Desktop/CAD View,will switch the SAP CAD Desktop,

I can creat the Document ,but When I try to Check in the orignal,I have the following problem:

display a dialog,show "Error while Checking in and storing file "c:\sapworkdir\Acadm\XXX.dwg""

By the way,User in USA have no error when check in the orignal.Our content server is in US.

I am just a user,so I don't know what's wrong.Can you help me?

Check few things:-

1. Where you have stored this "CFG" file in your computer/desktop

2. Check in CFG file (Cfg-File\LocalCfg\Directories).. Key as "WorkDir" and Value as "C:\SapWorkDir\Acad or Mechanical"

This above directory name mentioning is also very important, because it saves every time the file in the path (in the mentioned directory).

3. mentioned the Storage category of content server in the below mentioned path

Cfg-File\SystemCfg\Defualt\General in key "StdKrpoCategory" ; Your Content category name as Value

Hope by doing this steps, your problem will solve.

Thanks for your help.I have check all the configuration of CFG.All is right.

Now I have resolved the problem by our US Engineer.

The reason is occured by hosts file of C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.

Added the following:

XXX.XXX.XX.XX sapux080.mysap.external.hp.com

XXX.XXX.XX.XX sapux017

XXX.XXX.XX.XX is ip address.

Then you must be using a Cfolders right?

Only with DMS it is not required, if you are CFolders with DMS then you require settings.

Oh,I can check in the drawing through CV02N while not open the drawing.
