Hi All,

My Scenario is IDoc to File. I have maintained the below parameters on both SAP R/3 and

PI Side. I am giving some dummy details. Suppose SAP R3 (SID: SAI, SYSSTEM NO: 00,

CLIENT: 800) and SAP PI (SID: VJY, SYSSTEM NO: 01, CLIENT: 001).

SAP R3:
---------------

BD54: SAICLNT800, VJYCLNT001
RFC Destination from SAP to PI: VJYCLNT001
PORT: SAPVJY (The RFC destination in this Port is also pointing to VJYCLNT001 ).
PARTNER PROFILE: VJYCLNT001
DISTRIBUTION MODEL is also maitanined from Sender system as SAICLNT800 to VJYCLNT001.

SAP PI:
---------------

BD54: SAICLNT800, VJYCLNT001
RFC Destination from SAP to PI: SAICLNT800
IDX1: SAPSAI
IDX2: I have imported the IDoc Structure from PORT SAPSAI with clinet 800.

I have tested the IDoc from WE19 and the IDoc got transferred Successfully.

Basi type: ZMATMAS
Receiver:      Sender:

Port: SAPVJY     Port: SAPSAI
Partner No: VJYCLNT001    Partner No: SAICLNT800
Partner type: LS    Partner type: LS

Logical Message Type:

Message Type: MATMAS
Message variant:
Message Function:

Test flag:

I am using it for testing puprose. I am mapping it to only one field on the receiver end and i am also giving the correct values. After trigger i am geting the error as "IDoc was sent to SAP System or External System". But the file is not reaching the ftp folder, i am giving the correct ftp folder and also the message is not visible in SXMB_MONI.

Kindly check and do the needful.

GIRIDHAR

Just check if the IDOC got stuck there. If yes, try to solve the problem.

If no, check e.g SXMB_MONI on the sending SAP system.

Hi All,

I have checked in SM58 as suggested in the above replies. I found the below error in SM58.

No RFC authorization for function module IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS.

RFC Destination is also working fine. But i am using Non-Unicode. My User is RFC_User. If have done the UNICODE Test it is giving "Target is a unicode system (character size 2)".

Kindly suggest me how to proceed further.

Hi Giridhar,

Check the user you use for executing the RFC.

Perhaps check OSS note 837595 for details about missing authorizations.

Also, message "Target is a unicode system (character size 2)" is not an error. This is just an information message.

Kind regards,

Dimitri
