Hi Freinds!!

I have installed NW 04 SR1 : ABAP+JAVA Add In ( cinst, dbinst, client copy, jinst, xinst is done...) and I am doing Upgrade of XI 3.0 to PI 7.0 from SR1 to SR2 :

During XI upgrade, I am having the following error :

" ERROR : RFC of "subset_get_uvers" failed

key : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE

message :

User not authorized. Session Terminated "

-When I press continue ( other option is "Cancel" ) , it displays :

SEVERE ERROR : couldn't read UVERS entry via RFC

-Again when I click on Ok, it displays :

'SEVERE ERROR(S) OCCURRED IN RFCCHK_INI !!!'

...the option on this screen is exit / retry ..

> By mistake , I had installed xinst at the root i.e. I executed the sapinst of xisapcd from the root , instead of executing from the folder xinst...

>Also, I had entered my own name i.e. RUPEN/no1knows.. instead of 'Administrator'

Could this error have occured because of the any of the above two reasons ?!!

Pl. help..

Thanks... Just For the Record : I never failed to assign points to useful answeres...

Regards..

Hi,

If a system failure in the remote SAP system has occurred. So, try getting the SAP system data from the application or the JCo traces and check the SAP system,

Also, have a look at the dev_jrfc.trc file found in the directory "j2ee\cluster\server*" of the J2EE Application Server Installation.

Tcode- sm59 and check the RFC connection and check out the dump. (Tcode- ST22)

This might help you
