Viewing a Universe in TEST and PROD

Hie Guys,

I know how to import a Universe in DEV from Universe Designer. How can i open a Universe in TEST or PROD from Designer? If not, how is it normally handled in a work environment? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The folks are correct.. there is no difference in the process of importing from dev vs QA or Prod...

The only thing that changes is the server name (CMS) and you need to have assigned rights in those environment to import..

HI Javeen,

You need to have IDT access to your QA and PROD BOBJ. Once log in to your QA repository from IDT you can retrive any universe and or connection/connection shortcut  to your local projects/foldersr.

Hi Jeevan,

The process is same to import universe for a particular environment.

Open UDT in your machine.

Pass the system(CMS name) of the server which you want to acess(dev,int,prod)

Use or user name and password.

Import universe from the folder where it is present in the repository from universe.
