Restrict WBS ID for editing after it is released

All,

I want to restrict the users to edit the WBS element ID after the system status is released. I can do this by creating user status where the WBS ID change is forbidden.

I configured status profile where i have created non numbered user status for WBS object type and double click on the user status to update the transactions which needs to be forbidden. But where do i keep the condition( Configuration) that this should happen automatically when the system status is release?

Hi,

Put this status profile in OPSA (Project Profile) under WBS sts. prof. (Status Management).

My question is how to set the configuration so that user status is enabled when the system status is released for that WBS element.

I have already did what you suggested. But now, i am manually activating the user status in the project going to wbs element. I want this automatically on WBS being released.

HI Hari,

IN your status you have different business operations, one of the is Release you have to flag it as SET.

THis means that when your WBS is released your user status will be activated
