Preview Adobe forms

Hello, I am new to Adobe forms development and using program FP_TEST_03_TABLE to test the output of form FP_TEST_03_TABLE. When I do preview nothing happens and I have to terminate the session.

I ran program FP_PDF_TEST_00 to test connection and I see is

Version Information: 705.20060901075703.329130

Printer used is having Device type PDF1.What could be wrong here?

Appropriate rewards for corrct answer.

Can you see the objects in your heirarchy view of the form designer. If not, try logging on to the gui with language DE and then you'll see the standard set up of form FP_TEST03.

Hi Prasad,

It's normal you see only the version with program FP_PDF_TEST_00. This one is meant to check connection between the ABAP side and the ADS component running on the J2EE engine.

By the way, the result you see means the connection is properly set up !

There are several print programs avaiable: in SE38, perform a search on FP_*: you'll have numerous examples of dynamic PDF print forms.
