Total Order Quantity in sales document header

Hi All....

We have a field "Total Qty Ordered" on sales document header.....how to populate this field with value.......

For some document types it is populating the field with total quantity on order.....but for some it is blank......

Hi,

I havent seen 'Total Qty Ordered' on sales document header. Or are you talking abt 'Total Weight' field. Or Is this a new custom field added to sales document header table (VBAK). If it is a custom field, that has to be populated using some user exits.

But 'Total Qty Ordered' at sales document header will have an issue. UoMs at sales items will be different.

It is not a custom field....the field name for total order quantity is vsnmr .....

Can we do any thing using user exits ...does any one have idea which user exit to use......

I need to print the total order quantity of all the materials in an order in a report.... so there any way to do this....

Hi,

I have checked in sales order.

I havent find that Order quantity in header data is in display mode.Until its open sales order (no proceeding document created for that order) it will be in change mode.If you create any other doc( del Or billing ) with ref to this SO.That Order quantity in header will be in display mode.

the actual problem may be screen variant ,

u said u have defined some custom defined documents,

one thing for sure except po no and po date,

requested delivery date.

sold to party and ship to party will be controlled at document type level,

rest of the fields will be controlled at screenvariant ,

this screen variant is assigned at document type level,

I have not found that 'total Qty ordered" is blank for some of order types.Could you please let me know which order types this filed is blank.

In our system have some custom order types which we have created....

For some of those custom types also it is working but for some it is not working..

As my understanding in the Acoount group for those particular order types 'Ordered Qty" made as disable.
