We run this job daily on Sales Orders and STOs (Stock Transport Orders).
In case STOs if there is not enough ATP available then quantities of a PO Line item get split into multiple schedule lines with different dates. However when enough stock becomes available the quantities do not merge back and its a mess. The PO Lines shows many schedule lines with same dates for small quantities. I want to know if this behavior is standard SAP and if there is any solution to it. I was expecting that if enough ATP was available it will delete existing schedule lines and merge the quantities into one schedule line for that date.
Hi,
Please see SAP Note 885177 - Stock transfer in purchasing: New schedule line processing
