Hi Experts,

I am using ECC5.0 and EP6.0 SP16.

There is a requirement to change the data present in the java iview "com.sap.pct.hcm.essinmss.time.catw" when the java iviews is accessed in portal.

Basically, the java iviews has to be modified in the following way.

The page displays the week schedule 'Monday through SUnday'. It should be changed to

SUNDAY TO MONDAY. The iview should also display infotypes 2001 and 2002 on to its left.

hi sribabu,

Some modifications can be held by SPRO while if there are drastic modifications then i suggest you will have to work on the java code.

And to what you want i think you would have to develop separate applications and give create links on the layout of the view controller of your webdynpro application

"you would have to develop separate applications and give create links on the layout of the view controller of your webdynpro application"

could you be more clear on the above statement.

this is a java iview. can modifications be done to this in webdynpro??

i may be totally off the base.

yes it is possible to view and make changes to the java iview.

Firstly Java iview is nothing but an JAVA application.

This application resides in the Business Package you have uploaded on the portal.

This is a long procedure:

1. Find the name of the java application in the java iview.

2. find this application in the .sca file of the business package

3. open this sca file in NWDS

and then you can make changes to the java application.

Regarding the SPRO configuration on ECC 6.0

1. Go to personnel management->employee self-service->service specific settings->record working time and here the configuration can be done.

Points will help.

somewhere in the forum, it is discussed not to decompile the source code of SAP.

It was discussed long back. Is it changed now.

Do I have to put oss note to SAP regarding this.

Thanks!

Hi,

You do not require an access key to change java code.

Also if you do not want to change the existing code you can create a copy and try it.
