Screen variant

Hi,

I am trying to make schedule line date in display mode in VA02 through screen variant (Transaction - SHD0) but the fields are not changing after certain level. Is there is any limitation is there in SHD0?

Transaction VA02

Level 1: Initial screen

Level 2: AFS document header tab

Level 3: Sales tab

Level 4: SO line item

Level 5: Schedule line tab

Level 6: Dates in schedule line tab

I can able to hide / display mode till 3 level above level 3 even if i hide screens / hide fields is not working.

If any one has faced same issues let me know. It will be helpful if i get solution. Or let me know which user exit i can use to make fields in display mode in transaction VA02.

Hi

After creating this variant did you assign it in VOV8 to your sales document type? In Sale order we have to assign variant to respective sales document type.

Hi,

I am trying to do this in transaction VA02. System will not allow us to assign in VOV8 if is not there for VA01.

I didnt get your above post. What I was suggesting was that when we want to make some field mandatory or in display mode in sales order create or change screen we have to do that by screen variant in SHD0 and then asseinging that variant in VOV8 to that particular sales document type.
