Hi All
Is there a way I can make Item Category only relevant for creation via copy from previous document.
Example
I need to separately identify 2 Items , One created with reference to contract and other manually entered,
Has any one configured such scenario.

mukesh,
Instead of one order type with two item categories; create two order types (you can have one item category).
For one order type you can maintain copy control with contract sales document type in VTAA.
For the other order type do not maintain any copy control with contract sales document type in VTAA.
Thus when user wants to copy the data from the contract to the order, he/she shall use a document type; if he/she does not want to copy, other sales document type can be used.

Hi,
Not possible in SAP.
Contract-creation with line item 1
Sales Order- creation with automatically came line item 1 from contract as well as manually entered line item 2 ( with ref of contract )
Thanks,
Naren
