SAP ECC 6.06 CI + DB split ABAP Stack

Hi,

I have an SAP ECC 6.06 Environment with CI and DB on the same host. I know there is a dual stack split tool out there. IS there one for splitting CI and DB from CI+DB?

For this only one tool available is system copy method, if the OS /DB are same you can follow the Homogeneous system copy method  or if the OS /DB differnet you have to use the Heterogeneous system copy method in both system copy method you have to select the disturbed system then you can split in to two different systems.

Homogeneous System Copy is the one you need to follow.

If the system is running on Unix / Linux platform then probably the best option would be to create the SAP file systems and configure the environment variables for the sidadm user on the second server. Then copy all the files (kernel, profiles, job logs) to the new server and adapt them.

If everything looks file that start SAP.
