Dear Experts,
As we know there's a job to delete and switch messages in PI system.
In my implementation the Delete XMB DELETE 001 takes approximately 8000 seconds to finish. The table fill reached 70%, and the configured DELETION-DROP_MAX_TABLE_LOAD is 70.
What I want to ask is, is 8000 seconds to finish is something to be concerned? Will this impact on performance? Because we do lately have performance issue where messages stuck in IE or AE.
Thank you,
Suwandi C.
Hi Suwandi - this should not impact AE.
When you say the delete job is running for 8000 seconds, how many messages are being deleted? what is avg message flow?
However i would suggest you to check the below blog. You can find a very good explanation on the switch procedure along with calculation to set the DROP_MAX_TABLE_LOAD parameter.

Hope it helps..
