Getting CX_SY_COVERSION_DATA_LOSS ERROR IN Message alerting in SOLMAN 7.1 SP8

Hi  All,

I am getting data loss occured when converting administrator error during the step 5.7 in solution manager 7.1 SP8, during  registering  Solution Manager  as consumer for SAP NW PI message alerts.

Error message is as below...

Error in Message Alerting Web Service for domain -------------: SOAP:1.001 CX_SY_CONVERSION_DATA_LOSS:.An error occurred when deserializing in the simple transformation program /1SAI/SASFBC4BB9EB086A9AAA747.Data loss occurred when converting administrator.

I am attaching the screenshot also .

If anybody have faced this issue...Please share the solution for this error.

Hi Billy,

Yes we have synched the contents from solman for PI that is the very basic step.

We are doing PI monitoring set up in SOLMAN 7.1 SP8 and as per the screen shot above we are in message alerting screen . All the prereqisit were met before , In this window we are getting this issue.

So with your PI system can you correlate the log of SolMan attempting to access it?

In PI did you setup a sync to SolMan and within SolMan did you setup a sync?

@Rajesh, what steps did you perform within SolMan to reach this point?  I want to make sure pre-reqs were met.
