Hi

Do you mean via macro logic?

If so then you need to use the macro function COL_VISIBLE()

There are several examples are all in the SAP standard macro examples in the Macro Workbench.

I found the macros Ian.

But i want to hide a column for a specific key figure.

It is hiding the time bucket for all the key figures.

Do you think there would be a work around for the same?

Shipra

Hi Shirpa,

As you are aware, the planning book/data view design layout is in Rows and Columns. The answers given above are for hiding a complete row;  or a column( by macro).

For your requirement, you may think of option of virtual hiding of the required cell.

For virtual hiding of of one cell, the way will be to  execute a macro to change the color of the Text( i.e. Foreground color ) to match the background color.

Examples:

FG color code 2 - White (if the cell is editable)

FG color code 16 or 17 - Light grey (if the cell is non-editable)

I hope this gives some insight.

Yes as datta suggested above it might be the best way to hide the cells, beacuse it mighnot be possible to hide only one cell  i think. I already tried using cell instead of row and all ... but there is no use....

Yes Emani.

Either Hide one cell or a bunch of cells of a time bucket. For a specific key figure.

Example: For key figure actual retail, i want to hide December. but i want december to be seen for the rest of the key figure

Hi

Try changing it from a Row: attribute to a Cell: attribute and see if that works for you
