Defect Correction SMTM or YMTM issue-not validating if TR is moved to production

hi Team

I have copied standard transaction type SMTM to YMTM for defect correction workflow . While testing SMTM /YMTM workflow , we have observed that the defect correction CD's can be marked as "Closed /Confirmed" when we select action condition as" Confirm defect to production " ; It doesnt do further checks on whether trasnport request has been moved into Production system or not . This is really a strange issue , and I am not sure if you have encountered this.

Can you please confirm if there is any solution for this issue ?  please note that we are on solution manager 7.1 SP08 .

Hi Swati,

Defect correction created during the test phase of the project cycle, also no action like "Confirm defect to production" in SMTM . There is no action or condition to check the PRD import in defect correction. once defect fixed in the QAS system in Test phase. just confirm the defect correction

Estat - E0009 - Confirm Defect Correction only available in SMTM_ACTIONS.
