External mail from VA46

Hello,

I have created a sales contract with action 'Mail to resp. employ.' in contract data.

When we execute follo-up action in transaction VA46 we retrieve a document sent to our SAP inbox. But we would like to get this document in our Outlook mail. Is it possible?

It is possible but with output type settings. Search in Google with text send Sale order as attachment in SAP. Check below link for reference

You need to do a configuration using SCOT in the system.  Please contact Basis Consultant for that.

There is an old post on forwarding from SAP Inbox to email but the program mentioned is only for the work items. Google 'sap inbox to outlook' or 'sap inbox to email' to find more posts.

Otherwise, as MoazzaM said, external mail can be sent using output. Employees to receive the emails will need to be set up as partners in the contract for output to be sent to them. Configuration is the same like for any other output, just use medium 'External mail'.
