Negative Values in Variant Tables

Hi,

In Variant Configuration Scenario, we use Variant Tables with Characteristics having Numeric Format.

We maintain numeric values in the tables as " >= -10 °C " (greater than and equal to minus 10 degree C).

Recently we have upgraded SAP_BASIS component to SP-Level (support package SAPKB73108).

After this upgradation, the " >= -10 °C " (greater than and equal to minus 10 degree C) is working as,

     a) >= is functioning like “Only Greater than” which should function as “Greater than or Equal to”

     b) > is functioning like “Greater than or Equal to” which should function as “Only Greater than”

Request your suggestions to fix this issue.

     Regards,

     Sivashankar B

Dear Sivashankar,

note 1940557 provides a solution for this problem. Currently it's only available in German. Nonetheless you should be able to implement it.

Best regards,

Eric

Sivashankar B,

Reason and Prerequisites

When numeric values are compared, a small tolerance range has to be used. Due to a program error, the determined tolerance range was too large in some cases. As a result, different values could be evaluated as being unique.

The issue you got is latest one and can be cover with Note Eric suggested .
