Hi Jansi,

I thinik this document is pretty old.

The link the note provided does not exist.

Anyway, my real question is how do I enable https in SOLMAN? I can 't login to WAS.

Protocol cannot be switched to HTPPS; HTTPS is not configured/active

SSO logon not possible; logon tickets not activated on the server

Choose "Log On" to continue. A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user and password

No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

You are calling this web site with a browser that is not supported

Hi,

First of all check this note.

1709945 - Web Dynpro Applications: Single Sign-On not Always Possible

Have you recently set the parameter for https in SMICM .

Remove the incorrect configuration. You have three different options:

- Change the configuration of the system logon for this service and set the protocol selection to 'Do Not Switch'. The error message is then displayed for security reasons, but is no longer displayed twice.

- Set the 'Do Not Display Warnings' switch in the configuration of the system logon for this service. The error message is no longer displayed as a result.

- Configure the HTTPS protocol for your application server.

If HTTPS is already configured, check whether the configured HTTPS port has been activated. To do this, use transaction SMICM and choose Goto -> Services to check the status. Here, you can also configure a new HTTPS port by choosing Service -> Create.

Hi Rishi,

Thanks a lot. I run SMICM and get an ICM006 error: operation failed(rc=1).

I google and finally solve this issue.
