Hello Experts,
I have created below Customized status in Normal Change document before Action profile "Release for Integration and Unit Test"
1. In Development (Standard Action profile)
2. Release for FS Approval ( Customized) and Status is E0015
3. FS Approved (Customized) and Status is E0016
4. Release for TS approval (Customized) and Status is E0017
5. TS Approved (Customized Action profile ) and Status is E0018
6. Release for Integration and Unit Test (Standard Action profile)
7. Further status...continue..
We were able to set the User status from 1 to 5, but after Status "TS approved" Actions button getting greyed out. Not appearing the "Release for Integration and Unit test" in Actions
We have created below New Condition for "Release for Integration and Unit Test" but no luck. Its not showing in Action as its getting greyed out.
We have Solman 7.1 SP08.
Can you please let us know what could be the reason? That would be a great help.
Thanks & Regards,
Nilkanth.
Hi,
there can be two reason
1. either you missed the status profile proper config including low/hignest values
2. your condition is not included all the staus.
please review this document Change Request Management (ChaRM) - How to enhance the standard workflow - SAP IT Service Management...
check for the condition for the action ZMHF_TESTED_AND_NOT_OK in step 4 create new condition
Best regards
Jansi

Hi Nilkanth:
Maybe this is not exactly for your case, but in case somebody runs into your post with a greyed out issue with the Action button, we found that when we are working with methods in the Object Type ZBS2000116 (BUS2000116), as we add ABAP code if when checking the code there are errors, the Actions button becomes greyed out. As soon as we fix the code and generate the method then Action button becomes active again.
It took us sometime to discover that behavior not having a broad experience in the development world.

Juan

In addition to Jansi and Karthik suggestions, we also corrected the Sequance, low and high values in status profile and corrected the Sort orders in Actions profiles.
Thank you for your valuable suggestions.

Nilkanth.

Hi Nilkanth ,
Goto to spro -> status profile -> double click the particular custom status and maintain the setting ( refer the sap standard status )
Also check in the particular custom action in sppfcdm whether map the user _stat value for particular action
Check the below link for more details

Hi Nilkanth ,
I assume you have copied the standard action profile to custom one . Not sure what your exact issue is - can you clarify ? Can you provide a screenshot of which action is getting greyed out in which status ?

Shaswat
