Language in ROS_SELF_REG bsp page

Hi SRM'ites,

can i ask you one question?

We have scenario strategic sourcing of SRM 5.0.

How can the supplier change language on the ros_self_reg bsp page?

Even if supplier change the langauge on page system propose the same language that i defined in customizing of the service BSP.

Your help on this is apprecated

Hi Alessio

My last idea & I am sure this should work:

1) Check in SICF for ROS_SELF_REG service settings.

Do not give any language in logon settings. Check which all languages this service is available (you can see language field after 'Service name'). You can use this service in all those languages.

2) In your internet options-general tab-languages, add German language other than English.

3) Launch your SElf-reg URL in

http://<; host:port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ros_self_reg/main.htm?sap-language=de

If it still launches in English; Close all browsers and launch again.

It Works and I am 100% sure (In fact you do not need to do step 2 above also).

Hello Alessio,

If you are talking about UI language, BSP reads browser language setting. Please check Tool -> Option -> Language.

You can also add sap-language=XX parameter end of URL.

Which SAP version are you using ?

<u>Have you maintained the translation of texts in various languages. ?

I am not whether this will help. Try this out as well.

Incase you logon using your SAP User ID with some different langauge (Instead of 'EN' -> English , try 'DE' -> German, or 'FR' -> French, etc.</u>

How is supplier changing the language on ros_self_reg page ?

The language he specifies in the company details section is part of the supplier data. The language specified near the product categories is to select questionnaire language. They do not have any effect on ros_self_reg.

To my knowledge, this page can be in one language only.

I speak about selection language in the upon part of ros_self_reg_page.Exactly in the company details.How you say this language is part of supplier data,and the selection doesn't modify the language on ros_self_reg_page?

If it is so,how can I change language of this bsp page in function of supplier language?
