The SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer 8.0 is supported on Windows 8.0 (32bit & 64bit versions)

There are two ways in which SAP viewer is accessed.
1) Through standalone SAP viewer application
2) Through IE 11 browser (as an activex)
Is SAP viewer compatible in windows 8 for both standalone and as an activex for IE 11?
SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer 8.0 supports HTML Viewing on Internet Explorer 8,9 & 10, Firefox 4.0 and above and Chrome 9 or later versions.
(I am testing IE 11 currently and VEV 8.0 runs in ActiveX mode without issue. My OS is Windows 7)
And how about others Operating Systems like Windows XP and Windows Vista??

SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer can run on three supported operating systems.
These are:
Windows XP SP3 32–bit and 64–bit versions. Note that there is no SP3 for x64 operating system
Windows Vista 32–bit and 64–bit versions
Windows 7 32–bit and 64–bit versions
Windows 8.0 32–bit and 64–bit versions
RECOMMENDATION
We recommend that you use Windows 7 32–bit and 64–bit version
If IE11 is supported on the above OS's by Microsoft, I see no reason then etc.
