User sync in LDAP

Dear All,

Please let me know the steps involved in synchronization of LDAP.

I cannot search the users from Active directory when I raise the access request and synchronization is the cause.

did u confirgure correctly.. i mean mapping?

check you mapping in maintain connector group setting , check what parameter u have mapped.

Please check for the user path in LDAP connector setting. You can try

taking out user path from connector and try again.

hello,

sorry for late reply.. was on cruise.. if you have maintained mapping then you will get everything.

userpath you dont need.

first check connector status.. and try if you can find anything from LDAP tcode find button after logging.

ensure Base entry is correct.after that do a sync

I have searched the users and mapping is seems correct I can also find the user please check the screenshot.

Userpath is not maintained.

Only issue is when I run the synchronization I get following screen.

by the way why you have selected create user in director at the bottom.. ignore that as well.

- Have you maintained the Master Data Source as LDAP?

- Is LDAP connected and working?

- Have you set parameter 2052 as YES?

To run LDAP Sync you must go to SE38 and run the following report:

- RSLDAPSYNC_USER

Dear Fernando,

I checked everything as per your advice.

1) I maintained Master data source as LDAP

2) LDAP connection is working.

3) I have set parameter 2052 yes

4) I checked all the notes and all the support packages are updated in my system.

5) When I run the sync with RSLDAPSYNC_USER I get following screen.
