Error while creating Forwarding Order...

Hi All,

I am new to SAP TM. Require your help in configuring.

While creating a FWO (FWO Type is FWFE (Export FCL Ocean)), the system is automatically taking the following fields:
Transportation Mode: Road
Traffic Direction: Export
Shipping Type: FCL
Movement Type: Door to Door

and I am getting the following error:

Error: No stage with stage type 01 exists or sequence of stages is incorrect

When I try to define the stage 1 - Pick up, it is working fine...

It is creating $1 (New Forwarding Order - FCL Ocean Export), but when we try to insert the 'Item Hierarchy' in Item tab as:

1) Package - It is throwing an exception: Main items must belong only to category Container for shipping type FCL (Full Container Load)

Would like to know if the exception is raised because it is an ocean transport and only Containers can be the relevant item types...

2) Container - I get the following messages:

Messages for Forwarding Order (FCL Ocean Export) $1
Messages for Forwarding Order (FCL Ocean Export) $1 Item
Pieces Unit of Measure ST is not valid

The system is greying out the option for a) Product b) Pieces and c) Pieces Unit of Measurement.

I am unable to edit the details or proceed further. Please help.

Hi Alice,

I think for the first question you need to assign item type Container to the FCL forwarding order type, so you need to check the Customizing "Assign Item Types to Forwarding Order Types".

Hello Alice,

Have you configured TM to use ST? ST is not in the english list of UOMs. Try using PC instead. ST relates to PC when you look at the UOM configuration.
