Revenue recognation activation for old and existing documents

Hi friends,

I have a requirement to Migrate the old and valid contracts which has not been activated Revenue recognition has to be activated with revenue rcognition.The total number of contracts/orders would be 5 lakh recordes.For the same orders part of the billing plans are billed.

Hence forth which all are going to be billed should pick the revenue recognition.

The above changes should be updated in Production environment

Can any body suggest the process to update the existing documents.

I will appreciate if you can send me the information on setting up the revenue recognition functionality in service contracts with periodic Billing.

We have monthly,quarterly,semiannually and annual billing for which we need to implement Rev.Recgn.

Hi,

As per your question you can activate the different billings in the item category level.

Revenue recognition to be activated at item category level and choose the revenue recognition category according to your requirement. Like Time related or service related.

can you give your company mail id , so that i can send you the documents.

The reason is that i cannot send any information to the personal mail id's.
