Day's supply alerts: Consider negative stocks

Hello Experts,

We have upgraded system from APO 4.0 to 7.0. Now below issue arises.

After upgrade, 'days supply alert' is considering 'negative stock' as demand and showing it in alerts as shortage.

In APO 4.0 , it has not considered 'negative stock' as demand.

Could you pl suggest how we can avoid considering 'negative stock' in alert ?  ( Order cat of neg stock : CC )

Hello Asha

Although I'm not sure of the reason this has been changed in the upgrade (SAP can answer that), the solution is to correct the code in the macro's that generate the Alerts.

Please check the underlying macro that calculates this alert. It should give you an idea of why this alert is being generated.
