Unable to deploy WebDynpro application SDM Error

Hi all

I tried to deploy the WebDynpro application but after giving SDM password I m getting following error.

Deployment exception : Server wsrm00 did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server wsrm00 at port 50018: wsrm00

Inner exception was :

Look for the section: Deployment Error When Deploying from IDE

Also check OSS note 783965 as mentioned.

I went through specified link and OSS note also.

Note says the solution is to change hosts file .

I changed it also but didnt help.

Could you pls guide me.

Hi Vinod,

What kind of entry have you made? Is it like this:

<IP address of the application server host> wsrm00 ?

If you have made entry like <IP address of the application server host> wsrm00 it should work

You can also use DNS hostname in hosts file.

Also did you use the return key (ENTER key) after you made the entry. That is important as well. Please try that and let me know.

you need to change the port

i think you need to give 3918
