Hi

After change Ip address of Afaria server and re-install afaria server, I try to push notification to send policy, but I get an error for each client:

ONS1003: Could not connect to client "66bf67a788b261ee", with Client GUID, "{965577AD-753A-3234-8ACD-48D4346FACF2}". The specified host, "10.1.1.172", cannot be reached.

10.1.1.172 is OLD IP ADDRESS of afaria server. New IP address is 10.40.1.172

And I see this OLD IP ADDRESS as "Last know IP address" of client's edit page.

How can I change this?

Did you change the Afaria Server IP in the API service setup ?

Change this key and restart services.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Afaria\Afaria\iPhoneServer\aipsHost

Yes I did.

And check that registry key and shows New IP address.

Additional info: There is no iOS device as client on my afaria server. All Android.

If it reflect the new ip on console.

Can you confirm , The ports opening and firewall rules which was earlier for your previous Ip address has been changed to new ip.

The error indicate the host cant be reached.

I still believe the Afaria console somehow is taking old ip address.

Okie check for this.

On Afaria server create new GCM id again.

Normally whenever we change the host the GCM id change , i am not sure but try creating new GCM id and make sure port 5228-5230 open .

Also INSPECT the Enrollment code and check the Url path of enrollment code.

Re-check the Device communication setting if contain the old ip.
