Authorization check required in ME51N at storage location

Hi,

I have inserted SAP standard authorization object M_BANF_LGO-LGORT in roles for Storage location in ME51N but it is not working. I have inserted AB01 but user is able to make PR in any storage location. I need to restrict user for one storage location.

Please suggest.

User may have access to other Storage Locations via other roles - without ME51N 

Role search :

1) Go To Tcode - SUIM

2) Under Role Tab execute "Roles by Complex Selection Criteria"

3) under "selection according to user assignment" section add user ID which you are checking

4) under "selection by Field Name"  Enter LGORT in Field name Box a

5) execute Report

This will give you all roles assigned to that user ID having Field LGORT

you need to clean up roles /user access to restrict user to particular storage Location access

In SU24 you can not add objects to get verified.

You must do this using the ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST badi . You must write a breakpoint in those methods and choose which one get activated where you need it.

You need to assign the storage location with activity display only..for more help check with your basis team

YEs I have tried it but this object is not working in my system. So I took the help of technical consultant and with ABAP I have achieved it.

Hi all;

1- Go to SU03 , double click MM_E (MM Purchasing) or list authorization (F2)

2-You will see object list , M_BANF_LGO choose (F2)

3- You will see Authorization List.

* You can be activate a authorization with 'Active (F7)'

*Another way , you can create a authorization with ' Create (F6)

If you get a problem , please send Authorization List .

Hi ;

Can you check status?

Go to SU24.

*Authorization / Edit all assignments of an Authorization

*Object : M_BANF_LGO

*Type of application: Transaction , run.

*Status : Maintained ?

If it is ok , go to Su01 , you can add object manually to related roles.
