Hi,
SAPLBTCH is a function pool which means that when ever any one calls certain function module in this function group you will see it in SM50.
What it looks to me that when a user tried to submit a backgroung job and then the job used this function fool to get all the details and that is the point where it is hanging.(Just a thought)
Can only confirm when you go an check what is being submitted in SM37.
So if this assumption is correct then can you please provide more details when this started. Any changes that were done to the system.
try to run db stat so that you don't see any sequancial reads in there.
Is it oracle used the below command.
brconnect -u / -c -f stats -t all -f collect
So please provide more input to check more.
Thanks
Rishi Abrol

you should try to find out which jobs are running.. so check active jobs when these are running. Mostly they will have same naming pattern. Once found, you can check who has created these jobs and then decide on next actions like cancelling/scheduling.

Hello Subbu,
You can kill the process at OS level if its not terminating in SAP. And check if any more jobs are scheduled to run in SM37, if yes then you can delete them.
Another option is to lock the step user of those jobs.
