SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN Document is locked due to check-out to the file system.

Hi

I´m in the process of running tc SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.

I need to export Projects out of Solman and import to new Solman System.

There are some documents that are check´d out and there for I can´t create the transport.

How can I unlock these documents and force a check in.

I need step by step guide please.

Diagnosis

Document is locked due to check-out to the file system.

System Response

If the document is transported, the lock entry will be missing in the target system. This means that the check-in process cannot be continued in the target system.

Procedure

The user that has checked out the document to the file system has to check it in again.

Hi Vioar,

Please use SOLAR_EVAL T-code to analyse regarding the documents checked in or out. From there you can find the nodes and where the documents are linked. Then you can go ahead and adjust them in either solar 01 and Solar02 .

I have not work´d with these codes before, how can i drill down to the lock´d documents ?

Hi,

Since the document is checked out , please check the user who has "checked it out" . Ask user to  "check in" the document and then try  this would work fine . Untill this is done it will not work .
