SAP PS - Print of work papers triggered by project release

Dear Sirs,

The client would like to have print of work papers for operations printed automatically triggered by release.

Just like releasing a Production order can trigger print of work papers.

We have everything ready and working fine and can print manually from the network, but we cannot find any way to trigger automatic printing by project release.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am not sure if it can be achieved in std. way.
You may require to go with some development as when the object is released (Table JCDS,JEST)a spool request must be triggered to perform printing operation(transaction:SP01).

You may develop your logic in this way.

We tried looking into your suggestion.

To us, it seems like the realease of the project does not deliver "the trigger" to start the following processes.

We could of course create a trigger, but would prefer to use existing posibilities.

but, are there any?

Hello Madas,

Please look into SAP note 338391.It may help you a bit. T-code OPS0 also.

For Triggering,you may ask the programmer if it is possible to run a background job(automatic) to trigger a spool request once the project is released.
