How to change Icon on address bar and tab on IE?

Hi Experts,

How can I changes default(SAP logo) icon to my icon on address bar and on the IE tab and change title on IE tab.

Hello Keu,

For changing the Title you have to create Alias for your Application using SICF t-code.

This is my application details.

This is my output, So do you want to change "Application for Configuration" name

or URL entry.

If you want to change "Application for Configuration"(Title) by some other name, just go to your application description(Open Application and description property ) and rename it.

And If you want to change the URL by some short URL(<server_details>+<short_name>) then use SICF t code.

I tried changing the description in sicf but page title still picks from application description.

Thanks, by referring to your comments, to change title we need to change it in WD application.

So, changing description in SICF is having no effect on tab title.

For changing the Title you have to create Alias for your Application using SICF t-code.

Could you please elaborate the concept : How could the alias creation in sicf will help us in changing title?

Hi Keu,

Please do by following steps:

First : You need to know the path of icon(/sap/public/bc/ur/nrd/favorite/abc.ico)

Second: You need to put icon path in WD application parameter.

              Click on your application and go parameter tab on right handside.

              Put the name WDFAVICON in Parameters column, and paste path above to value column.
