Webdynpro abap application publish externally

Good morning friends from SCN, i have created an aplication web dynpro abap to visualize at work internally. I need you to guide me how to visualize this apllication externally, for example if I'm in me house and i want to gain this apllication from my mobile phone.

I hope you can help me with some example.

Hi,

To access Web Dynpro application outside network, you have to use VPN. check this thread: http://scn.sap.com/thread/1951879

If you want to access WDA application without VPN ( like the public web sites) you have to open the HTTP ports in your firewall and allow external access to your Wen Dynpro application ( and to ECC system ).

Kiran is right,

if you want to access your web dynpro application it's like all other web applications : you need to open it to the internet by allowing connection to host on the required port.

The VPN is one solution to connect to your private network without openning it to the entire world.

Another solution could be using a SAP portal to separate the backend from presentation server so that ECC can still be in a secure area.

If in professional context you should adress this issue to your network admin team.
