Configuration of Transport Host

I am installing SOLMAN 4.0 on Server 2003 / SQL Server, I am doing the pre-req steps and have hit the "Preparing the Transport Host". I currently have a 3 tier R/3 environement reunning on AIX with STMS configured across them. So this configure transport host confuses me as to wether it is referring to my R/3 systems or am I creating a new transport directory, etc. for Solman. Forgive my lack of knowledge on the transport, this was all configured before I inherited the boxes and those people are gone from the company. If anyone can break this step down for me, I would appreciate it.

Since SolMan also has a transport infrastructure and you have that "standard" installation guide, that step is for the SolMan itself, not for any connected system.

If you have two SolMan system you need a transport environment for that too.
