Enhanced standard component configurations and upgrades?

Hi Guys

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer for by Google'ing I am hoping you can help me.

If I enhance a standard component configuration eg. HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_ADDRESS_DK, what will happen with this enhancement when we upgrade?

Will it be overwritten?

Hello Jacob,

if you really enhanced the configuration (by using the enhancement funtionality) it won't be overwritten and it will probably still work! If you "modified" the configuration (by simply changing it) your changes will be overwritten.

Hi,

All enhancement (including WDCC enhancement) is not overwritten when upgrade.

But conflicts may occur if enhancement and upgrading have same item ID (ex. button ID).

Usually, We can adjust conflicts in SPAU_ENH t-code.

Until now WDCC enhancement is not supported in SPAU_ENH adjustment.

You can't adjust WDCC enhancement conflict.

It has to be deleted and recreated.

Be careful to use WDCC enhancement.
