WM KANBAN TO creation (direct and background) - dynamic storage bin

How can I realize a dynamic destination storage bin for a WM KANBAN transfer order (direct and automatic/background creation)? Is there a user-exit that can be used (e.g. MWMTOAU1)?

Usually the system uses the storage bin set via the control cycle (transaction PK03) and does not consider any settings in the WM movement type customizing.

Hello,

the logic behind the Kanban is different from the "pick parts" logic, this is why the dynamic storage bin is not foreseen.

In the "pick parts" replenishment strategy (check LPK1 transaction) the dynamic storage bin is allowed because the material is replenished for a single production order

In the Kanban process, the material is not repleinished for a specific production order, that's why you don't have this possibility.

Are you aware of any technique to influence this? Do you think this could be realized via user exit

"MWMTOAU1 Selection of transfer requirements for automatic creation of transfer orders" or "MWMTO001 Enhancements for end of transfer order generation"?

Not sure, with the enhancement MWMTO001 you can probably influece the  TO, but I do not think you can create a dynamic bin...
