Need info on learning Universe

Hi Folks ,

I am new to SAP BO. I have worked on CR and I am trying to learn now Dashboards and Universe Designer.

The first Q1. Which tool to use to create a Universe Universer Design Tool / IDT and why is that preferred way.

Good online tutorials for both pls.

Hi ,

If you are starting to learn BO universes, you can start directly with IDT.(universe can be cretaed from Universe desiner tool or IDT)

Although most of the places Universe designer is used to create universes but in future this will be phased out and only IDT will be in picture.
