BI Launchpad using Data Services Drivers

Hi All,

We have both BI Platform 4.0 SP5 and Data Services 4.1.  Our data source is Greenplum and to connect the BI Platform to Greenplum, we used the Data Services 4.1 DataDirect drivers.

All was well until yesterday when suddenly I am receiving a IES 10901 error when trying to refresh my reports.  I tested and refreshed a report with a different data source (MySQL, not DataDirect drivers) with no problems.

I also noticed that the modify date of the driver files (*.SO files) is exactly a year ago.

Please help.

Hi All,

As weird as it is, the bash_profile needed to be re-sourced since since LD_LIBRARY_PATH and other important variables were empty.

After doing a source command to the bash_profile and restarting the BOBJ server, the reports successfully refreshes and the error is no more.

By the way, the database error message 523 80 which actually means:

- 523 "[DataDirect][ODBC lib]"

- 80 "Specified driver could not be loaded"

I hope you already tried to create a new greenplum data source and test the behavior. If you find the same issue to occur. Reinstall the data drivers as the issue is due to data source only and no others
