Hi
I have installed the SFTP Adapter on my SAP PI7.3.
Updated the SLD with the latest CR content - now version 9.9
Installed the PGP Module using SAP SUM
Installed the SFTP Adapter using SAP SUM
Imported the SFTP Adapter ESR Content
I can now select the SFTP Adapter as a Communication Channel.
Problem 1 :
I do get this error on the communication channel even though the userid and password have been entered.
Exception received:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: received authentication request from
server which could not be processed:
destination=xxxx@sftpxxx.xxxxx.com; name=;
instruction=prompt=Enter password:
Problem 2:
Now I want to use PGP. But there does not appear to be a module to perform this duty.
Where would this be ?
For Problem 1 : Seems it might be my SFTP server that is keyboard interaction authenication - I'll have to use a private key for that. So any ideas on that would be appreciated.

Hello,
>>Problem 1
I haven't came across with such kind of error, but i can see a similar discussion on SDN...Check Wolfgang's reply:

>>Problem 2
If you have installed PGP addon then u can easily call PGP module using correct module/parameters name like:
localejbs/PGPEncryption
Check below link for more details about the same:

RE Problem 1 : SAP Note 1945020 confirms that it doesn’t like the keyboard interactive authentication as it is not supported by the SAP adapter. As I am not able to switch off keyboard auth on that SFTP server I will have to go for a key auth instead.
RE Problem 2: thanks Amit. Why SAP cannot document this themselves is another thing.
