incompletion log custom document showing as 'specify the partner funcition either in document header or item'

Hi Every one ,

GTS custom document showing incompletion log as 'specify the partner funcition either in document header or item' .

In custom document Ship to party export and sold to party export are the same. In custom document >> header  >> partner tab >> ship 2 party for export filled with 2908 business partner but remained address  not filled.  Sold2 party address and partner filled correctly .

please help on this .

Can you please elaborate your query. It's not 100% clear.

The reason for incompletion could be system is expecting some other partner to be available in the document.

Can you please let us know if this was a standard log or a custom designed. You will be able to find it by checking the message type that you are declaring. What message type do you find in the declaration?

And regarding Partner#. The reason you find only Partner# and no address- The possible reason could be there was a manual update in the ship to party in the delivery document. Some one would have removed the other address details.

Can you check if there were any change in the address of ship to party in the R/3 delivery document.

Hi Dhilipan,

Error message occuring because of version upgradation issue.
SAP 8.0 we do not have partner tab at custom document item level but 10.1 we have that feature.

we noticeed that ship-to instead of going into header partner was going into line partner . we are getting incompletion message and asking to "enter consignee security"
this standard error message but not customized.we are unable to reproduce it every time in production But in Test systems it's working fine.

so could you please suggest me how to proceed on the same and does it required any configuration changes.

this is not message and just showing incompletion log before saving the CD .

once after succesful creation proforma in R/3 and data flowing to  GTS . After CD going incompletion log because of  Ship2 partner going line item partner of CD instead of header  in GTS 10.1. But in Gts 8.0 we do not have line litem partner tab.

Incompletion Checking is only possible within the context of an active message.  No message = no check.

So, which message are you checking?

Hi SRV,

I cannot find any error message with the wording you gave.  I can see the following:

/SAPSLL/CUS_ECC 193: Item &1: Consignee is not specified at the header or item level

/SAPSLL/CUS_ECC 194: You must enter the consignee at header or item level

/SAPSLL/CUS_ECC 234: Specify the sender either at header or item level

But none of those are used in the incompletion checking for Message M2120 (Switzerland E-Dec).  Perhaps you could re-confirm the exact error and the message being checked?

Regarding the Security; that message is issued when security is required (Advance Declaration) and no 'SECEMP' partner is entered in the header.
