Hi Guys,
I can see Visual Composer 7.3 can be directly deployed in WebDynpro as an application.
1. How it can be used in Portal ? like create Java webDynpro iView from created VC 7.3 application..?
2. If want to use RFC/BAPI Data model in VC 7.3.. simply creating RFC destination for SAP ECC 6 will bring RFC's in the search result..?
or Do I have to create webservice out of RFC/BAPI to utilise them as Model in VC 7.3..?
3. Why SAP introduce separate composite environment 7.3 server from Portal server ?
Thanks
Sam
Hi Sam,
Regarding 1) : When deploying VC model a web dynpro java application is created wihtin SAP EP Web dynpro Java Applications folder.
You can then create an iView, open it, locate your VC model web dynpro java application and by right click on it add it to your iView.
Regarding 2) : as mentioned by Udi
RFC destination must be defined, furthermore backed end system should defined in your portal with SSO connection. Then you will be able to use backend BAPI or RFC.

Hi Sam,
About 2:
Once the RFC is defined as destination in the nwa, you see it in the VC Search Panel.
